Talk Homework -The Three Little Pigs

This week we are looking at the story of The Three Little Pigs.  Talk about or read the story and then share the letter that has been sent home.

  

Talk about:

*How can the Little Pigs know that the Wolf has really changed?

*Can bad people change?

*How can the Little Pigs ensure their future safety?

*What are the advantages/disadvantages of being friends with the wolf?

*Is it wrong to not to be friends with someone?

*Is ‘not speaking’ ever a good way to settle a dispute?

Make notes in the children’s treasuries if you wish.  Please discuss any WOW words that can be used within the letter perhaps to describe the pigs, wolf and their feelings or actions e.g. sweet, young innocent piglets, menacing, evil, vile villain, petrified, astonished etc. The children will be writing a letter back to the Three Little Pigs offering advice on what they should do.
