Another half - term has come to an end!!!!

Here are the photos of our trip to Caerphilly Castle where we explored the features of the castle and found out what it was like to life in  castle many years ago.  A huge thank you to Mrs Earing, Mrs Evans, Mrs James and Miss McDonald for accompanying us on the trip.  I hope it wasn't too cold for you!!!!

 And then there was the banquet of all banquets to end our topic 'Tales and Castles'.  The children designed and created their own pop up invitations for King Matholwch's Banquet.  The results were amazing!!! The children used a combination of v-folds, l-folds and box folds and they were of an extremely high standard! Da iawn pawb!!! We then celebrated in style in our own medieval style banquet!!! Have a lovely half term pawb and enjoy your well earned rest!!!!!!!  Mr Worth will be posting images of the banquet tomorrow for you to enjoy!!!!!

Dosbarth Coala and Cangarw Class Wedding Monday 2nd February

Please can the children bring their wedding costumes to school with them on Monday.  We will change them ready for the wedding which is at 1.30 pm at Taffs Well Church.  If you are coming to the wedding please can you meet us at the school at 1 pm so you can walk down to the church with your child.

Caerphilly Castle Trip Wednesday 4th February

Please can you ensure your child has the following for the trip:

* warm coat with a hood, hat and gloves

*suitable clothing

*a packed lunch

* no more than £5 for the castle shop

*wear school uniform
