Class 4 visited Frankie and Benny's on Tuesday 4th May to bring to a tasty end their studies in Technology of Pizzas. They began by choosing a soft drink cocktail from the bar and decided on their own ingredients. Then they designed and cooked their own pizzas with toppings ranging from sweetcorn and peppers to pepperoni, ham and chicken. They were so delicious some children forgot to share their cooking with the staff! Even the children who weren't keen on pizzas have now been converted! The pizzas were washed down with ice cream again decorated with their own choice of toppings. Each child was then presented with a certificate and a 'goody bag' reminding them of the importance of healthy eating. The children were so full they didn't manage their dinners when they got back to school! Thanks to Mrs Stevens, Miss Morris and Mrs Pontin for their help with class 4's pizza project. Many thanks again to Mrs Aldridge the manager at Nantgarw's Frankie and Benny's for making the Ffynnon Taf children so welcome and providing all the food and drinks free of charge.
