Croeso i Ddosbarth Coala
A new academic year is upon us again so I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and inform you of the organisation within Class Coala. I am the class teacher, Mrs Howells and we are very lucky to have Mrs Stevens working with us full time this year also.

Please see the brochure that has been sent home to see some of the exciting activities we will be doing this term through our topic ‘Paws, Jaws and Claws’. We have an exciting trip to Bristol Zoo on Thursday 13th September to kick-start this topic! (More details to follow soon)
Other Important Information
*The children will need to bring their own snack in for break or can obtain a piece of fruit from our
tuck shop. (Most items 30 pence)
* The children will line up before school at the entrance to the junior building closest to the car
park.
*The children will exit at the end of the day by the same entrance - one by one when their parent
or guardian arrives (you may wait in the yard outside this exit).
*There will be a Parent Notice Board just outside the classroom displaying any important
information or letters that have been given out etc.
* PE Day—PE will be on a Wednesday.
No jewellery is to be worn during PE lessons and long hair must be tied back. If for some reason your child is unable to participate in PE a letter with a valid reason must be provided. The PE kit can be kept in school if you wish.
* Wellingtons—Please could your child bring in a pair of wellies (with their name clearly marked) to be left in school. Thank you.
*Please can your child bring a bottle or beaker of water with them to school each day.
*If your son/daughter needs any regular medication please let me know eg. I can keep spare asthma pumps on my desk ready for PE lessons/play times.
Regular information/messages and examples of the children’s work will be able to be found on our Blog page on our school blog: http://www.ffynnontafpri.blogspot.com or our website:http://ffynnontafprimaryschool.createprimary.co.uk/.
You will also receive regular text messages or letters throughout the term.
Mrs Stevens and myself are looking forward to teaching your child this year; working with them and watching them progress. If you have any worries or queries or if you can offer your support or time in any way don’t hesitate to contact us.
