St David's Day in Dosbarth Coala

We celebrated St David's Day in style this year.  We took part in a variety of activities in the morning including:

* making wooden Welsh Dragons

*models of St David

*Welsh place mats

*Welsh dragon kites

These were judged and the winners were announced in the Eisteddfod in the afternoon.We even took a break and enjoyed our milk with a traditional Welsh cake!  In the afternoon, we joined the rest of the school for our annual St David's Dy Eisteddfod where we sung songs, heard recitals of Welsh poetry and performed some traditional Welsh folk dancing.
