TALK HOMEWORK - Report on Wolves

This week we are continuing with the genre of non-chronological reports. We are going to write a non-chronological report on wolves (based on wolves from traditional tales).  We will be researching facts about wolves this week but it would be helpful for talk homework if you could discuss the following:
Where do wolves live?
What are the different types of wolves?
What do they eat?
What size are they?
Appearance?
Behaviour?
Life Span?
Any other interesting facts?
I have included a sheet for you to make notes and some information on wolves to get you started.
You can make notes in your treasury if you wish but as always the more talk the better!  From last week's session we need to focus on putting the notes into full sentences e.g. diet - moose, deer, bison, voles
could become:  The wolves' diet of choice consists of deer, moose, caribou, elk, bison, musk-oxen and beaver. They have been know to survive on voles and mice if need be. Try asking your children to put their notes into full sentences.
