Talk Homework - Saving Sinbad! 20th May

This week we are studying the book 'Saving Sinbad!' by Michael Foreman.

This dramatic story turns an ordinary working day for an ordinary working dog into one of excitement, near tragedy and heroics.  In Michael Foreman's evocative and gripping tale of a rescue at sea, builders, an artist, the barber, a barman, a bridegroom and a dog perform an extraordinary courageous feat.  But it's all in day's work in this busy Cornish village.

Please can you spend time this week talking about:
* 5 Ws - Who was involved?  Where did it happen?  Why did it happen?  When did it happen?  What happened?
* Any wow adjectives or verbs that could be used whilst retelling the story - extraordinary, courageous, dramatic, terrifying etc.
*Any adverbs (ly words) that can be used to describe how something was done e.g. courageously, bravely, cautiously, bravely etc

This piece of writing will be assessed so please talk as much as possible!  You may make notes in your treasury if you wish.
