HOME SCHOOL TASK EASTER 2014 After Easter we will be looking at Wales and our local locality. We would like you to spend time over Easter choosing you favourite place in Wales to research. We would like you to think about: *where in Wales this place is (perhaps locate on a map) *what the weather is like there *what physical features can be found there e.g. rivers, mountains *what human features can be found there e.g. famous buildings, parks, shops etc *if the place is/or has ever been affected by tourism, buildings, the weather, natural disasters etc. This could be done through using the internet, books, people or even a visit! We would like your child to decide how they would like to present their findings to others. Here are some suggestions below but please choose a form that your child is confident with e.g. *poster *mind map * ICT – power point, photographs, * fact file *non-chronological report *poem *display board * a song *collage Please could this be returned to school on the Monday 28th April.
