Our Week in Dosbarth Coala!!!!!

We have been continuing to learn about Hawaii including: *how tourism affects Hawaii *how pineapples get from Hawaii to our country *the weather in Hawaii *natural disasters within Hawaii. The children have used their numeracy, language, ICT and thinking skills whilst working as a team to find out about the above. They were all able to choose how their wanted to present what they had found out to others. This ranged from: *weather reports using Green Room *posters *fact files *My Story videos *Timelines They have also been putting their multiplication skills to good use by using the phrase: 'Sawl ...... sy gyda Hawaii? to find out how many different human and physical features are found on the big island of Hawaii. I forget sometimes that you are only Year 1 and 2. You are becoming so grown up and I'm proud how you have turned into confident independent learners.
