This week we have been busy comparing the Christian Harvest and the Jewish Succoth by sorting into a Venn and Carroll diagram. The children have also finished their decorations for our very own Sukkah!!!!
In Maths this we have been learning how to count larger sets of objects by counting in 2s, 5 or 10s and have been using our drawing skills to solve some very difficult Maths problems!!!!
Some of us even choose the 'Green Challenge' and worked in pairs to find out how many Tripods and Bipods were on the spaceship! Some choose to solve the problem by drawing, others recorded their calculations in a table whilst the rest used equipment!!!!
And if that wasn't enough the children received an email from Old McDonald this week asking for their help. They had to draw a map for the farmer using keys and symbols and they needed to give reasons for why they were placing the animals in certain places around the farm. They certainly sorted the chaos out on the farm!
