Firework Poem
This week we are looking at the use
of onomatopoeia (a word that sounds like what it is describing) in poems related
to Fireworks. On Friday we are going to
write are own poem using onomatopoeia.
Please could you spend this week talking about the following:
· The Firework Code – talking about how
to keep safe.
· What things do you see/do/feel on
Bonfire Night?
· What colours do we see?
· Any sound words to do with fireworks
and Bonfire Night e.g. pop, bang and crackle.
You can make notes in your treasury
or stick pictures if you wish. I have
included two examples of poems for you to read together.
