What have we been up to in Dosbarth Coala this week?

Yet again another busy week in Dosbarth Coala!!!! We have been investigating the a suitable light that Plop from 'The Owl who is Afraid of the Dark' can use in his home to make it brighter.  We found out which colours were transparent, opaque and translucent.  We also investigated which materials would allow electricity to pass through them.  Mr Grinling was in trouble again and was very pleased when we informed him of our results.  We found out that metals conduct electricity.

Here we are learning to tell the time to o'clock, half past and quarter past the hour on the analogue and digital clock.  What difficult work!!!

The children are practising their 5 times table playing 'Multiplication Fly Swatter'.

Here the children had to use the block provided to build suitable garages for their vehicles Da iawn pawb!  Don't forget to look at the front page of our school blog to see the children busy doing drama activities based on our class book 'The Owl who was Afraid of the Dark'.
