This week we would like you to take about how you would care for a pet
e.g.
- Provide food and water
- Make it comfortable
- Provide it with a suitable home
- Ensure it is free from pain, injury and
disease
- Provide it with toys
- Love and respect it
- Ensure it exercises regularly and
receives enough sleep
- Give it plenty of attention
- Allow it to act naturally
On
Friday, we will be writing a set of instructions on how to look after a pet
therefore you also talk about any bossy verbs that can be used in our
instructional writing e.g. Wash, Pour, Take, Cuddle, Provide, Open, Clean,
Place, Walk etc.
Please
can a photograph of the children's pet be sent into school (preferably a photo of your
child and their pet together) as soon as possible as this will be displayed with
their instructional writing in class.
