On Friday it was a very exciting time in Dosbarth Coala and Cangarw!!!! In the morning they wrote letters to Captain Scott informing him of the boats that they had made over the term. Then the children all gathered excitedly but a little apprehensive around the paddling pool!!! The big moment had arrived, would their boat sink or float????? Amazingly, all six fantastic inventions successfully floated across the pink paddling pool. Da iawn, pawb!!!!!
But the excitement didn't stop there! After lunch the children journeyed to the local river where they bid farewell to their plastic bottle containing letters to Captain Scott. Despite getting lodged half way down the children blew wishes of good luck and the bottle then started its journey again!!!
What an amazing project, thoroughly enjoyed by pupils and staff alike!! Bendigedig!!!
