TALK HOMEWORK Monday 3rd March
As part of our St David’s Day celebrations this week we are reading the traditional story from Wales called Branwen. You can read the story together using the link below: https://hwb.wales.gov.uk/cms/hwbcontent/Shared%20Documents/vtc/story_of_branwen/eng/Introduction/starteractivity.htm We will be writing an Octopoem about one of the characters from the story. Please can you choose a character from the story and discuss the following: *What type of person are they? *What do they like/dislike? *Who and what is special to them? *What colour would you compare the character’s personality with? *What season and place do they show similarities to? *What piece of clothing and food would you compare them to? All the above should relate to the type of person they are or the part they play in the story. See the example of an Octopoem attached to help. Encourage your child to use lots of adjectives in their talk. Spellings for this week are: son, water, through, saw, down
