And there's more SNOW!!!!!

WOW more snow fell last night which has resulted in the school closing again today.  I hope you all had great fun in the snow yesterday and make the most of today because this looks like it could be the last. If you are at a loose end   please feel free to having a go at the following tasks:
1.  Talk Homework for this week - Discuss the traditional tale 'Sleeping Beauty' and the reasons why the Wicked Fairy did what she did - see an earlier blog below.
2.  Have you completed this week's Fraction homework?
3.  Have you read your school reading book?  If so choose a book of your own to read or read a book on the following website and make a comment in your reading record book http://www.oxfordowl.co.uk/findbook
4.  Have you completed the homework which involved writing 5- 10 facts about a character from the traditional tale 'Sleeping Beauty'?
If the answer to all of the above is 'yes' then why not have a go at the following:
1.  Look in the house for a pop-up book and investigate how it it made.
2.  Learn your 2 times table and review the 5 and 10.
3.  Write a set of instructions based on how to build a snowman.  Remember the features that we have looked at e.g. heading, picture, step by step clear instructions, ordered correctly, bossy verbs, time connectives.  Ask a family member to follow your instructions and build the snowman.  Take a photo of the finished product.

There are leaves up for grabs and a chance to take the guinea pigs home for the weekend if you have a go at any of these!Have fun in the snow (I have!) and I will see you in the morning.
