Big Bad Ben is in Town!

The children have been busy this week learning the songs for this year's production of 'Big Bad Ben of Bethlehem'.  Da iawn pawb!  A big da iawn also to all the children who have learnt their lines already we are so proud of you.

This week we have also been very busy reading the Welsh book 'Noson Tan Gwyllt' which is about The Gunpowder Plot.  The children used their maths skills to draw a 'coedcerth' and 'Guto Ffowc' in cms and were able to play a game of 'Tynnwch LLun' which involved only using Welsh vocabulary to instruct their team members to draw a picture similar to the one they had just looked at.

We have also be studying the homes that would have burnt down in The Great Fire of London'.  What do you think of our sketches?
