What have we been up to this week?

Thank you so much for your patience and understanding with the homework which was set on Hwb+ last week.  Changes have been made and it should now work!  A letter has been sent home explaining these changes.  This homework is now due in on Friday.

This week we have been investigating which materials King Charles II should use to rebuild London.  After a variety of experiments the children found out that stone and metal would be suitable because they are strong and hard and are not highly flammable.

We have also been sorting toys and games from the 1600s into a Carroll diagram and comparing them to toys and games with those we play today.  Our P4Cs lessons have also been going from strength to strength! The children are gaining confidence each week with creating their own philosophical questions, listening to each other and giving examples to support their ideas.  This week they discussed 'Are routines important?'

They have also been putting their measuring skills to good use and have been building their own fire stations in the construction area.
